About this ebook

I’m a gamer by nature and by profession. I’m all about strategy, performance, and coming out on top.

Five months ago I threw caution to the wind, and in the first miscalculated step of my twenty-one-year life, I made a move on my brother’s best friend.

The first mistake we made was keeping our relationship secret. The next was going off half-cocked when a train wreck of epic proportions hit us.

Now our secret is secret no more. As I struggle to deal with all of the swirling emotions, conflicted feelings, and the multitude of burned bridges that I need to mend, the one person who can help me through it all is the same man I need space from.

To fix it I’ll have to pull on my big-girl panties, focus on what I truly want in life, and put everything I have into winning the most important game I’ll ever play.

Life is a game, and it is what you make it.

Coming out unscathed is a whole other matter.

If you love a great rom-com read, look no further than Ms. Harvey's Game Series. As luck will have it, this novel definitely can stand alone. I recommend book 1 as it was funny, romantic and a perfect lazy-day-I-just-want-to-read book, but not necessary. BJ Harvey introduces you to past character's within the story so you don't feel lost. Dani and Zach's story will not disappoint. "Hey vagina, take a picture . It'll last longer." The novel is told in a dual POV. However, it's lines like above that when the readers is in Dani's head, I couldn't stop from laughing out loud. For those of us who are slightly geeky and awkward, you can relate to the character of Dani. But she isn't so awkward that she seems juvenile. This strong, smart woman is who attracts our hot firefighter, Zach. Whoa Baby!! If you love your male leads not be a manwhore but actually relationship driven, you'll definitely be in love with Zach. This novel is a really perfect read. The story is evenly paced, never bogs down with heavy drama or angst. Keeps the reader wanting to come back for more. Can't wait for Cade and Abi! 5 out of 5 stars.

Game Maker is the second book in the Game series by B. J. Harvey.  I recommend reading book one, Game Player first.  Game Maker is told through both the main characters Danika and Zach's POVs.  I felt drawn to both characters immediately.  I loved Danika; she's super smart, independent, and fun.  Zach has become one of my book boyfriends.  He's hot, caring, and totally swoon worthy.  I loved the idea of this story and I was rooting for Danika and Zach the entire book.  They made laugh, they gave me romanc
