Such a fantastic start to a new series! Barbara is a wonderful storyteller whose books I always get pulled into. Gianna and Zach make such a sweet couple. I absolutely adored Zach and have added him to my ever-growing book boyfriend list, lol. This is a fun, easy read with romance, humor and a little suspense. I love all the secondary characters that have been introduced and am looking forward to their stories as well. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

i gave this book a 2 because i didn't like the premise of a guy wanting to see a child that didn't belong to him, but feels he has the right to. it just felt weird.

The first in this newest series. We find ourselves at Whisper Lake, with a close knit group of friends and the sixteen year old grown to adults romance. Past trauma, bad decisions and failed romantic partners, make this story interesting. The tribulations are long and suffering. Good read with the expected HEA.
