A beautiful visual journey through the magical forests of Mount Macedon, an ancient, extinct volcano in far south eastern Australia.
Over eighty full page, colour photographs guide the viewer up and around the mountains forested flanks, past immense Stringybarks, standing hidden in the lush rainforests and moss filled fern gullies, through mist shrouded eucalypt forests, where huge boulders lie tumbled amongst the trees, beneath looming cliffs and up toward the rocky summit, with its gnarled alpine gums and lichen covered stone, eventually arriving above the treetops, looking down over the hills and valleys, and gazing out to the far horizon.
