Izzy is dating famous musician Seth Roberts from the band Scarlet Gryphon. She is feeling insecure about their relationship especially as he is in Australia on tour with his band and she is back in the UK attending her friend’s wedding (as their bridesmaid). Seth is besotted with Izzy & wants to propose but isn’t sure if she feels the same way about him. I loved reading this novel & was great seeing how Izzy & Seth’s relationship progressed after the Christmas novella they were in (The Bookshop on the Corner). It wasn’t too predictable either. I also liked the other band members and Izzy’s family.

This is a gentle, lovely romance. It highlights the sensitivity of both halves of a partnership. The story of the Rock star and life on the road is nothing I know about, but this story seems to be a genuine picture of the life. Izzy and Seth are very much in love and the chance to spend time together whilst Seth is on a world tour is grasped. Throw in a spoilt girlfriend of the bass player and Izzy's life becomes complicated, but true love will always win!
