Sam and Casey's plan to surprise everyone with their wedding didn't exactly go how they would have liked, with the caterer murdered and ending up in the wedding cake! No one to leave a mystery alone, especially one so personal to her, Sam begins her own investigation of the murder. I enjoyed this trip back to Aloha Lagoon. This was a light, easy read, and I couldn't quite figure out what was really going on, which made it fun for me!

Tidal Wave will have you deciding to elope! There is the blatant disapproval from the groom's mother, an overbooked venue, a reality TV star and his entourage, and the caterer face down in the wedding cake! Ms. Prentice has again written a delightfully twisted tale for the reader's enjoyment. There are so many suspects, possible alibis and more, I was almost tempted to make my own murder board! I know better than to start reading an Aloha Lagoon mystery at night. It was about 5 am when I finished but well worth the lost sleep!
