This is the way a series should be written! Each book is complete on its own, but, much like a play, one obstacle emerges from the background, develops on its own under the lights and is resolved, fading back, while future problems simmer until they come to a boil. They are not thrust into being like a volcano erupting, nor cut off and rejected abruptly. They just grow until they demand their time center stage. A wonderful series which make me want the rest of the rest of the books. Thank you. Very well done.

An excellent author as usual. Her writing style and graphic descriptions draws one into the world of the elves that she has artfully created and constructed. Amazing.

If you're a fantasy fan, you'll be glad for the 4 in 1 format, because you won't be able to put it down, and you'll just have time to order the next books in the series before you finish this volume. The cover is gorgeous, and the novels inside are even better. There is never a dull moment, the characters are wonderfully written, the world the author builds is fantastic and interesting. For me, every release of a new book in this series is like Christmas.

About the author

Ever since finding a copy of The Hero and the Crown in her elementary school library, Bethany Adams has loved fantasy, even subjecting her friends to stories scrawled in notebooks all through high school. Eventually, she decided to publish novels of her own. When not working on her Return of the Elves series, Bethany enjoys reading and playing video games.
