He was huge. A hulking brute with muscles all over his backside. He was naked except for pair of black boxer briefs covering his ass. Miles gawked at the man’s muscular thighs and upper arms. He looked like an athlete. Maybe he was a wrestler or a bodyguard. Was this the man who had held him down? Judging by his muscles, it was no surprise why he had overpowered him so easily when Miles had tried to fight him off.
“I know you’re awake, Mate,” the man said without turning around. “Get over here so you can eat. You need to restore yourself.”
Miles groaned. So much for the chance of sneaking away while the man had his back on him.
“Who are you?” Miles asked. “And what are you doing here?”
“I’m Brendon. Your Mate,” the man said as he turned around. The look on his face showed admiration as he let his eyes travel over Miles’ naked body. Miles gawked at him. He’d admired the man’s strength and muscular features, but his face was beyond anything Miles had ever seen. He looked like a model or the perfect example of male beauty. High cheekbones and a stubborn tilt to his lips. He looked both handsome and strong at the same time. Miles ran his eyes down the man’s chest, carefully ignoring to count if he had a six-pack or an eight-pack torso.
“Oh my god,” Miles blurted out before he could stop himself. The man grinned at him as if he knew what Miles was thinking.
