I read this book twice a year and i give these books to people who are looking for a Spiritual life. Or who are hungry for intimacy that only God can provide. Some have an issue with Brother Lawrence being a Catholic, this Baptist Pastor does not.

If you read this book don't give up on it because you cannot follow it's reflections, meditations, etc. It is really very advanced spirituality.

I could feel the tenderness of the Lord's presence each time I read a section from this book. There is much we can learn through Brother Lawrence's relationship with God.
