Brian Braun, a local Dallas photographer, believes he's hit Pulitzer pay-dirt when he receives an unusual call for an extraordinary photo shoot from a U.S. Senator. Afterward, however, Braun comes to realize his photographs have done more than record history. About the author

Buz Sawyers resides in Rowlett, Texas, where he taught English in the Garland Independent School district for twenty years. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Literary Studies and an MA in Creative Writing. He currently teaches Englsih and writing at Argosy University in Dallas. He has four published books under his belt: "No Point in Dying Now," an historical novel about the Civil War; "A Debt Unpaid," a post-Civil War sequel; "Decades in Anadar," a collection of short stories; and "Murder: Shaken, Not Stirred," a murder mystery circa 1969.
