About this ebook

A deadly hit-and-run, a café in chaos, and a cat with a nose for clues!

Scarlett Finch has enough on her plate—running the Cozy Café, managing a mountain of baking orders, and keeping her family from bickering like rival chefs. The last thing she expects is to stumble upon a gruesome crime scene on her way home.

With too much work and not enough hands, Scarlett doesn’t have time to play detective. But when a close friend is caught up in the crime, she and her sisters can’t sit this one out.

Their rescue cat, George, seems to have a paw on the truth, but it’ll take more than feline instincts and a sprinkle of luck to solve this case. With murder in Cozy Hollow, will the Finch sisters crack the mystery—or become the next victims?

If you love culinary cozy mysteries with twisty whodunits, small-town charm, a touch of humor, and adorable animal sidekicks, you’ll love the Cozy Café Mysteries—where family, food, and felines go hand in hand with crime-solving!

📚 Perfect for fans of baking mysteries, small-town whodunits, cat cozies, and café-themed sleuthing!

The punctuation errors and grammatical errors are very annoying. There are extra commas and random question marks in odd places, which makes it jarring to read, plus missing quotation marks, and missing commas which have nothing to do with the difference between the Oxford comma and leaving it out because of "AP standards." Also, using "that" in place of "who" and "which" gives this book a very failed-middle-school-English-class vibe, and is also annoying for a reader.

The writing was very immature so I found the characters needed work and were silly. It was fairly easy to predict who was guilty. Commas were overused especially where they weren't needed which drove me nuts. I wouldn't recommend. Though I appreciated how close the sisters were, it was a very boring story.

Another great one in the Cozy Cafe Mysteries series, I really enjoyed seeing the progression of Scarlett and her sisters and can't wait for more to unfold in the next installment!
