Very cute and entertaining book. Love the story line and it kept me engaged in read for the first time in years. I also love that it's something that both me and my daughter can read separately and discuss together.

This book is full of hope, even though Jess comes back home to bury her mother. Also, to meet her cat familiar and learn to use her witch powers. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

An enjoyable book of a woman coming into her witchness as per the witches rules. After a lot of denail she accepts her new life. Good start for a series
