About the author
C.L. Collyer, a penname for John Lofquist, was born in Canada in 1940. Raised and schooled in Toronto, he spent a great deal of his early career travelling the world extensively; an experience that helped shaped his penchant for writing. Married with children, grandchildren and stepchildren he moved to and settled in the United States in the late 1970’s relocating to Florida in 1986. As a young boy he read a great deal, starting his passion for reading with the Hardy Boy’s detective series. In school, English composition and literature soon became his favorite subject. “My primary interest is in writing books for children.
