About the author
In addition to being an avid backyard beekeeper, C. M. Potter is an Associate Professor with the Languages Division at Pasadena City College. Before settling in the United States, she lived in Canada and Japan and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, and Africa. At home, she takes pride in her garden, which recently won an award for water-wise landscaping in her city; the bees seem to like it too!
