About this ebook

After a family loss, Lisa Montgomery has to move across the country to continue her junior year at a new high school, where she notices the cliquish environment. She’s immediately branded as the nerdy new girl, but she catches the eye of one of the most popular guys in school, the captain of the basketball team.

Jake Austin is attracted to the new girl, but he’s hesitant to risk his social standing to befriend a nerd … until he discovers she’s his next-door neighbor. Jake and Lisa start to form a friendship, but it’s one that Jake keeps a secret.

When Lisa’s home life begins crumbling around her, Jake needs Lisa to know he’s there for her and willing to help with whatever is going on, even if that means standing up for her in public.

Jake realizes their friendship is real and the truest one he’s had in a while, and he wants to live his life through her beautiful eyes.

But what happens when Jake’s feelings for Lisa grow beyond friendship? With prying eyes surrounding them, will Jake take the risk and show Lisa how he really feels?

Lisa has moved to a new town after a tragedy hit her family. She is taking care of her younger brother while her dad is working, or so she thinks. Enters the boy next door, Jake, who doesn't speak to her because everyone thinks she weird. He only talks to her outside of school. As he starts to develop feelings for her, he must overcome the negativity he gets from his friends, and show them the real Jake This story has first love and grief. Point of view needed to be different. Confusing at time
