About this ebook

Confirmed bachelor Max Sterling isn't into rescuing damsels in distress, but when the very tempting Hailey Ellison needs his help, there's only one thing for him to do. Step in and pose as her loving fiancé. Except there is nothing fake about his attraction to her, or how much he wants her beneath him in his bed, moaning his name. But what starts as a sexy, flirty, temporary engagement, quickly becomes something more serious that neither one ever anticipated.

I just devoured this book. I started it around 11:00 am and finished it at 11:00 pm the same day.....I loved it! In the book Big Shot, we met Max Sterling.....he is Wes Sinclair's business partner. Max is also a confirmed bachelor. Sure someday he'd like the whole family, house and kids stuff but for now he is content with his life, at least until Hailey Ellison walks into it. Hailey is looking for a high end building for her matchmaking company. She is very picky and has a list of certain criteria that are a must. Too bad she's engaged based on the diamond on her left hand and Max doesn't mess with women who are taken....no matter how much they turn him on. After three months of looking, Max has found Hailey the perfect building. When they go to lunch to celebrate they run into one of Hailey's clients who believes that Max is Hailey's fiance....unbeknownst to him! That's when the fun begins! When Max realizes that Hailey is not engaged and not even dating anyone he has made it his mission to make Hailey his. I just adored Max and Hailey. What started out as a pretend engagement quickly changes into something real for both of them. Since Hailey has some skeletons in her closet, she doesn't believe that Max could really be that into her and she thinks that he is just putting on a great show. Max starts to realize that Hailey has some insecurities and he is trying really hard to reverse them. These two had a fun ride to get to their happy ending....Max's well off family....Max's crazy ex that he only dated 3 times...as well as all of Max's friends and Hailey's best friend. This was a wonderful story that I highly recommend!

Faking It has a sincerity that is seldom found in sensually charged romances. Only a handful of authors can put their heart into their characters and Ms. Phillips and Ms. Wilde gave it their best shot and created a successful parcel of the ups and downs of love. Hailey is the great pretender. Love is her bread and butter, but a past bad experience has led to insecurities that make it hard for this matchmaking goddess to find her own happily ever after. Image is everything. So with a little fib, she keeps her heart on the shelf and her business intact. When her little white lie threatens to topple everything she has built, will she find the strength to put her heart on the line? Faking It, is the blend of two of romances most incredible genres. Temptation brings heart to the table and creates a sugary story of naughty proportions. Your heart rejoices while hormones go on full alert.

This is an interesting, entertaining, fun and sexy romance about a couple that has been building sexual tension over a long three months and trying their best to ignore an intense attraction both for separate yet compelling reasons. Confirmed bachelor Max Sterling is content to be single and is not convinced he will ever find the one since the only woman he as been instantly attracted to is the very unavailable client of the last three months who is engaged to another man. (that he has never seen or heard about but has seen the ring on her finger every encounter with her) Hailey Ellison is a shy and sweet woman with strong body image issues enforced by her one and only lover in college and recently decided to start wearing a ring on a very important finger to shave her heart the trouble mean cause. Their mutual runaway attraction explodes one lunch celebration and the game is on.. Loved every heart pounding, fun filled, plot twisting moment.
