Bethnee has fled civilization and a horrific past. Axur has escaped possible death after cybernetics testing. Her minder talent with animals has her working as a vet med when Axur brings in some sick pets. Both are in hiding so a relationship isn’t a good idea, but sparks still alight… This novella is fast paced and exciting, with plenty of science fiction mixed in with cute animals. I loved the personalities of the different dogs and the snow leopard, and Bethnee and Axur’s romance was so sweet

This space opera novella was fun, exciting, and a great little potato chip of a story for a busy day when you don’t have time to read a novel. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed this story that at its heart is about 2 people who love pets and are a bit damaged. The main characters meet and slowly become friends and fall for each other along with their pets. But of course there is some trouble coming their way but the pets manage to help save the day. I loved the story and the pets were so cute and a riot as well as a bit different then the usual but that added to the story.
