American Isobel Rowland doesn’t have much beside her music. When she finds out she’s the illegitimate daughter of an English aristocrat, the world opens up to near-unlimited possibilities. The only problem is that her father wants her to give up the music and find a husband.
Alexander, the Marquess of Hartforde, has little to no interest in remarriage, though he does find the young Miss Rowland intriguing. As he considers his options, Alexander acts as a patron to a promising American musician, Ian Rowland. Little does he know, Ian is none other than Isobel in disguise!
Can Isobel keep up her charade as she develops feelings for the Marquess? What will Alexander do when he finds out the truth? It’s time to face the music.

Passion’s Song was originally published in 1987 and is the first book I wrote. Other than correcting typographical errors in the original, this book stands as I wrote it in 1987. The back cover copy of the original book referred to a devilish duke, even though there was no duke in the story. I have refrained from the temptation to add one.

“Brilliant, poignant... and just plain fun. I loved it.” (Courtney Milan)
Lily Wellstone lost her chance at true love when the man of her dreams was killed in the war. She has to laugh when a gypsy gifts her a medallion that supposedly has the power to connect a person with their perfect love. When she visits her newly-widowed best friend Eugenia, she can’t help but be fascinated by the brooding, handsome Duke of Mountjoy.
Mountjoy would rather deal with business than spend five minutes socializing at a party, but when he sees his sister Eugenia’s beautiful friend Lily, money doesn't seem nearly as appealing. He’s practically engaged and she’s nowhere close to his type. He resists the temptation, but some rules were meant to be broken.

There’s a reason Ruan Bettancourt, the Duke of Cynssyr, has obtained the nickname Lord Ruin. In London for the season, his plan is to marry the most beautiful debutante on the marriage mart, and he always gets what he wants.
Spinster Anne Sinclair is sensible, strong, and overlooked. On a night in which she vowed to protect her sister from the infamous Lord Ruin, she never expected to end up in bed with him.
Forced into a marriage neither of them wanted, Anne and the Duke believe they have no hope of passion or love for the rest of their lives. When the rogue falls completely for his tall, bespectacled wife, it’s up to him to convince Anne to relinquish her heart.
