About the author
Carolyn Roberts was a single mother with two teenage sons when she decided to live her dream and build a simple, natural house with straw bales and earthen plasters, to help make ends meet and express her love of nature. The only problem was that she didn't know much about building. This is her odyssey written from the depths of the experience to inspire others to follow their dreams.
