Cathi Stoler's mystery novels feature PI Helen McCorkendale and magazine editor, Laurel Imperiole. Telling Lies, published by Camel Press, is the first in the series and takes on the subject of stolen Nazi art. Keeping Secrets, the second Laurel and Helen New York Mystery, delves into the subject of hidden identity. The Hard Way, a story of International diamond theft, is third in the series. She is working on a new series, Bar None, a Murder On The Rocks Mystery, with female bar owner, Jude Dillane.
Stoler’s short stories include a 2015 Derringer Award winner, "The Kaluki Kings of Queens," published in Family Matters from the Murder New York Style series (Glenmere Press). Her stories are also published in the Criminal Element anthology Malfeasance Occasional: Girl Trouble; Fresh Slices and Murder New York Style, both from the Murder New York Style series. "Fatal Flaw” (Beat to a Pulp) was a finalist for the Derringer Award.
