About the author

CHRIS HEAD teaches comedy writing for BBC Writers, the British Library, Bath Spa University and to writers worldwide on Zoom. He mentors writers with Lucy Lumsden, former BBC Head of Comedy Commissioning, and directs stage comedy shows, including stand-up, plays and character comedy. He is the author of Creating Comedy Narratives for Stage and Screen and A Director's Guide to the Art of Stand-up published by Bloomsbury Methuen.
