Chris J Mitchell, was born and raised in London. Since he was young he has had a passion for writing and at school greatly enjoyed writing fictional stories of mystery, intrigue and action. In his childhood he met with a serious accident at the age of about eight and because of this he developed agoraphobia. This experience affected his view on writing and how emotions, human behaviour and habits greatly affect and alter logical and rational situations.
He graduated from University in Manchester where he studied film and wrote his dissertation on Vaudevilles influence on early comedic movies and how great performers such as the Marx Brothers, Harold Lloyd or Laurel and Hardy brought their craft to the big screen. He has a keen interest in movies and literature and enjoys books and stories with intrigue, mystery and the unknown.
He specifically enjoys ghost stories and his fictional writing has been influenced by classic ghost stories from the Victorian era. He has written several ghost stories in classic Victorian style that have been well received.
