This is ancient Carpathian Tomas Smolnycki, and jaguar shifter Sarika Silva’s story line.The action sequences are not as detailed or prolonged as in previous instalments . There is plenty of reflection and contemplation as Sarika struggles with the demons from her past. The supernatural premise is inviting but a little dry; the characters are animated; the romance is seductive

I love this series always keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. Feehan is one of my favorite authors.

the book ended abruptly unlike any before it like only a partial book. That being said it was still a great read. I hope there is a part 2 soon.
