Not the best way to win friends…The sleepover is intended to cement Megan’s new friendship with Rachel, Claire, and Harriet. They would do the usual stuff—talking till the wee hours, painting each other’s nails, gossiping. The Parthenon, the huge manor she and her father live in, is even supposed to be haunted so…seance!
But Megan stumbles on a loose hearthstone, revealing an old diary and a mysterious key. Before the night is out, the girls are on a dangerous journey into the myths of ancient Greece, and Megan’s job is to make sure everyone gets back alive despite gorgons, sea monsters, and sphinxes.

About the author

Christine Norris is the author of several fantasy novels, including the Library of Athena series. She has spent much of her life reading, and several years reading boring textbooks so that they would give her Degrees in Things. All that studying led her to become a librarian, which she has been for several years in public schools (none of the Magic ones were accepting applications). She loves fantasy, British TV, Harry Potter, and Disney everything.

She also loves archaeology, mythology, and history, but hates heat and bugs, and so she did not become an archaeologist. Christine may be the guardian of a secret library and chaser of magical artifacts. But if that's so, she's not telling.
