About the author

Claire Louise Voet was born in Gosport across the shores of Portsmouth Harbour. She went to school in Portchester, close to Fareham and then went onto college in Havant where she studied hotel management. She has a varied working background ranging from the hotel and holiday industry, advertising, teaching English as a foreign language, sports journalist and working as a freelance creative copywriter for website designers and SEO marketing companies. She started writing approximately three years ago and her first novel “Whittington Manor” was published in December 2010. Whittington Manor has also been written as a television drama series. She is fascinated with history and subjects to do with the paranormal, something she has incorporated into her most recent novel The Ghost of Bluebell Cottage.
