About this ebook
In this collection of emotional and reflective verse, Coco Schreiber has dipped into the paint pot of her life and dolloped drops of colour on to the areas of her palette which seem to her to accommodate her memories and emotions: the colour blue for the ladies she has loved and lost; purple for comfortable adventures both here and abroad, seeking a pathway; yellow for the reflective aspects of her nature; grey to represent her hardest decision; and the red of a proud rose. The poetry gives the reader a glimpse into Coco's heart, into her very being, and reveals her passionate and sensitive persona.
About the author
School was a hotbed of chocolate digestives, whose smeary toppings - or was it bottomings - melted frighteningly quickly into the bedding sheets swaddling the lumpy mattresses on the small beds of the school’s dormitory. ‘Coco’ has been my moniker ever since. Universities here and abroad did much to satisfy my consuming interest in the written word. I enjoyed travel in my early youth, especially by train, but the workings of the infernal combusting engine confound me still! Now Ms Fate and I sit together (but not cross-legged) with the Piskies in Piran’s glorious land. Coco
