thriller, murder, suspense Never trust a former green activist who did more than just make a profit. Self absorbed boyfriend contracts with said billionaire allegedly to write a book about him under the career journalist's name but finds out otherwise. Kat supposedly goes along for a vacation, but it turns deadly when a couple who are protesting shady business practices are killed in a supposedly spontaneous avalanche. And then things really get messy! Aside from wanting to toss the boyfriend under the bus, I was riveted by the story and the characters. Petrea Burchard is the perfect voice actor for this book. I won a free audio copy in a giveaway without expectations.

I cannot recommend this book. I can barely get past the second chapter. The author's ever so frequent use of the word 'anyways' completely side-tracks me and I lose interest!

It is a bit predictable and the author spends a lot of time using the characters thoughts to fill pages. These thoughts are often repetitive and resulted in me skipping pages as they were unnecessary and repetitive....did I mention the thoughts of the character were redundant and repetitive?
