About this ebook

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and All Your Perfects, a “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) about a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance can’t stop thinking about her first love—soon to be a major motion picture starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

Thank you Colleen for sharing your story with the world. It was funny and sad, angry and happy. It showed naked truth throughout the entire story. It was so real, the story, the characters, everything! There are not enough stars in the world to rate this book. I was so incredible, i finished in one day. Thank you again for sharing this story and not changing a single thing. It was perfect!

This is one of those great books that really makes you think. No matter which side of the equation you fall, you can see from someone else's point of view. I've had experience with the issue in this book, but I've never really thought about it from all sides. At the end, it says something about stopping the cycle. I think about my mother, grandmother and myself. Then I think of my daughter. That is a major message. As for the actual story, it really sucked me in. For me, if I get really into how it will turn out or if it draws my emotions out, it's a winner. It Ends with Us did both.

I need a long break from books now. Three days of intense reading passing through dream, love, sadness, hope and awareness. I finished few hours ago and still feel like I need to cry, I wanted things were getting right but learned on my skin that both physical or psychological abuse can't get right. The only thing I can rely on is the hope that there's a second chance for everyone, with someone else just as this beautiful book that took me busy during my whole holiday made me dream about. It's all about love
