About the author

Conrad Barski has an M.D. From the University of Miami, as well as nearly 20 years of programming experience. Barski is a cartoonist and the author of Land of Lisp, who has been using bitcoins since 2011 when they were just $1 each. He regrets not holding on to more of them then.

Chris Wilmer holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Northwestern University and is now a professor at the University of Pittsburgh. Wilmer has been using bitcoins since 2011, when he made his first transaction to buy honey caramels from a farm in Utah called “The Bees Brothers.”
