This book made me happy and cry at the same time. Jackson and Catherine relationship grew in me, and I love how they're attracted to each other and overcome the obstacles. But somehow, they need to figure out dark pasts that comes creeping in. Jackson n Catherine story continues on book 2 Beholden.

This book really drags on and has so many unnecessary parts. The "scenes" go on endlessly by the time you're done reading 3 long paragraphs you realise they barely added anything worth while to the story. I really tried to enjoy it but I couldn't.

Well written, amazing characters. The book makes you really want to know more. Sometimes you want to reach in and shake them a little for being stubborn and dumb, but it's great to see them figure things out. I love it.
