Ratings and reviews

This was a new to me author and one I'll definitely be reading more from in the future, including the next book in the series. Although I jumped into this series super late, and a couple of back stories piqued my interest, I wasn't lost for a second. In fact with multiple plot threads that I couldn't get enough of I was transfixed from cover to cover. I would definitely recommend this book no matter who picks it up.

Exciting: terrifying forays into a frozen wilderness🏔 4.5🌟 I really loved the fast pace and the double storyline dovetailing into one frigid challenge for Alton, Kane and their team. The switch from the serial killer case to the search for medical examiner Wolfe's teenage daughter Julie and back kept the suspense level high, and the blizzard, avalanche-inducing Montana backwoods setting is almost a separate character. This is a great addition to the series, easy to read. Highly recommend.

I loved the different perspectives of Jenna, Kane and their team, the serial killer, and Julie. Every time I turned the page, I felt a different emotion. I love the fast pace of the book. There was never a dull moment in the book. I really loved this! It's one if my favorites.
