Book two in the compelling Salzburg Saga.

One plane crash. One extraordinary faith. One million lies.

It was meant to be a successful networking trip to Salzburg for Nina and her two business partners, Neil and Angela. Their biggest client, Parker Drayton, had organized a weekend of introducing their small law firm to potential clients. But they hadn’t accounted for Parker’s two grown sons who had also joined them.

They hadn’t accounted for Hugh Drayton.

Drunk, belligerent and on a power-trip following an argument with his father, Hugh had turned the journey into a nightmare when he stormed the cockpit of their small private jet, causing them to crash, spiralling them into treacherous and unforgiving Austrian back country.

Now, with nothing but snow and dark, looming mountains surrounding them, they must band together in order to survive. But as fear and hunger escalates, long buried Drayton secrets begin to emerge. Those secrets shatter the fragile bond they had sought to build, leaving them unable to rely on those they can see, but on the One they can’t…

Torn is the second book in the compelling Salzburg Saga.

The seventh and final book in the #1 New York Times bestselling I Am Number Four series brings the Garde’s story to a breathtaking conclusion.

The Garde didn’t start this war, but they’ll do whatever it takes to end it once and for all. . . .

The Mogadorians have invaded Earth and the Garde are all that stand in the way, but they’ll need an army of their own to win this fight. They’ve teamed up with the US military, but it might not be enough. The Garde need reinforcements, and they’ve found them in the most unexpected place. Teenagers from across the globe, like John Smith’s best friend, Sam, have developed abilities. So John and the others must get to them before the Mogs, because if they don’t their enemies will use these gifted teens for their own sinister plan.

But after all that has been taken from John—his home, his family, his friends, and the person he loves most—he might not want to put any more lives in danger. He’s got nothing left to lose, and he’s just discovered he has an incredible new Legacy. Now he can turn himself into the ultimate weapon. So will he risk his life to save the world, or will he realize that power in numbers will save us all?

Michael Bay, director of Transformers, raved: “Number Four is a hero for this generation.” This epic young adult series is perfect for fans of action-packed science fiction like The Fifth Wave series by Rick Yancey, The Maze Runner series by James Dashner, and Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game.

Don’t miss the first book in the brand-new I Am Number Four spin-off series: Generation One.

Don’t miss book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series, now a major motion picture starring Dylan O’Brien!

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends—the Gladers. But it’s finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn’t know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it’s enough to prove that he can’t believe a word of what they say.

Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He’ll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.

The time for lies is over.

The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!

Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner's other bestselling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of Minds, The Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

I sling my bag over my shoulder. “I’m off now; see you later!”

She hurries towards me, eyebrows furrowing in disbelief. “You’re going out like that?” she hisses.

“Like what?” I reply, quickly giving myself a once-over in the corridor mirror.

She stills; “Aren’t you going to cover your hair? It’s not done. Let me get you a scarf.” She begins to look around frantically.

Confused, I run a hand over the soft bouncy curls of my Afro. With that just-washed fragrance that I love, my hair looks lovely to me. “My hair is done; it comes out of my head done, in ready-styled, tight curls”, I explain.

“You can’t go out like that”, she insists, her eyes widening in sheer horror. “What will people think?”

Coiled hair, coarse hair, kinky hair, often mislabelled “bad hair”, many sisters have grown up being told that the very hair that comes out of our head simply isn’t good enough. As a result, many have openly confessed to a struggle to embrace the very look of their natural woolly hair throughout most of their lives, and knowingly or not, have denied themselves one of the most basic and fundamental of human freedoms. Thankfully, as the truth becomes more and more apparent that the beautifully powerful and exceptionally versatile natural woolly hair is indeed the original, and needs to be displayed, not hidden, hopefully dialogues like the one above will quickly become a thing of the past.

Issues in life revolve around lies and truth, and this natural woolly hair issue is no exception. In BEFORE WE BECOME EXTINCT – How Do I Get the Confidence to Wear My Natural Woolly Hair? sisters T.C. and D.U. Okonkwo will explore this issue in order to answer this often-unspoken question. They will share profound insights into the link between love, lies, fear and rejection, since these underpin the struggle many sisters have with embracing this unique and exceptional aspect of their beauty.

If you struggle to confidently display your natural woolly hair - perhaps you used to wear it but now feel the pressure to hide it - or if indeed the very idea of displaying your woolly hair makes you feel anxious and fretful, this book is for you. It encourages you to dig deep and consider for yourself the answers to many of the questions posed, and to use these answers as fuel for empowerment, to ultimately free yourself from this woolly hair issue, and more importantly…stay free.
