I don't know if the writer intended to write such a short story but it would have been lovely to see the lover's characters develope and love unfold in a more well paced manner. Their relationship just seemed to rushed and thus unrealistic considering the Victorian era and the differences in social standing. It was an enjoyable yet mildly satisfying read.
