About the author

Danny is a survivor of one of the most severe cases of COVID in Tulsa and is one of the longest people in the Tulsa Area to have been on ECMO for as long as he was and survived. He has a Master’s of Ministry in Worship from Beth El Yeshiva, Newport News, VA, and attended Victory Bible Institute, Tulsa, OK. He is a licensed minister. He lives with his wife, Shannon, and children Aaron and Diana in Glenpool, OK.

Shannon is Danny’s wife and survived COVID as well. Her case, while not as severe, still impacted her life greatly. She has her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. Shannon has been a crafting-at-home mom since their son was a toddler, and creates items with yarn through crochet or knitting as well as making items for home decor. Her crafting at home is what has enabled her to continue to stay home while the kids are in school and to be able to more easily help Danny as he continues to recover. You can see her products at www.stitchedbysisters.com and on Facebook at fb.com/stitchedbysisters.
