I loved that the relationship with Lindsey and her boyfriend had a predominant role in the story rather than being given a glimpse like most other cozies. I understand cozy mysteries are supposed to focus on the mystery aspect, but this was a nice change for me. There was a creepy occurrence that Lindsey experiences that freaked me out a bit so the story incorporates a bit of the paranormal that I wasn’t expecting.
