David Jacoby has been consulting for global multinational companies on operations strategy and performance improvement for more than 25 years. He is currently the president of Boston Strategies International, a firm that assists oil & gas, power generation, and renewable energy providers in achieving competitive advantages through supply chain management. Jacoby has numerous publications, including a general guide to supply chain management for all types of companies. A frequent speaker at conferences worldwide on the economics of oil, gas, and related supply chains, he has taught operations management at Boston University's Graduate School of Management, served as a contributing editor at the Economist Intelligence Unit, and worked as an economist at the World Bank. Jacoby received an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA from The Lauder Institute, and a BS (Economics) from the University of Pennsylvania.
