David Longridge lived and worked in Paris and Brussels in 1960’s, spanning the period that followed Belgium granting independence to Congo. He also worked in Algiers and the Sahara during the same period, and subsequently in Kenya and South Africa. From his time in these countries, he has strong interest in the post-colonial politics of that period.
