New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author DIANE CAPRI Does It Again!  NEW Hunt for Jack Reacher book!

"Full of thrills and tension, but smart and human, too. Kim Otto is a great, great character—I love her." Lee Child, #1 World Wide Bestselling Author of Jack Reacher Thrillers

Jack Reacher: Friend or Enemy?

It’s been a while since we first met Lee Child’s Jack Reacher in Killing Floor. Fifteen years and sixteen novels later, Reacher still lives off the grid, until trouble finds him, and then he does whatever it takes, much to the delight of readers and the dismay of villains. Now someone big is looking for him. Who? And why? Hunting Jack Reacher is a dangerous business, as FBI Special Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar are about to find out. Otto and Gaspar are by-the-book hunters who know when to break the rules; Reacher is a stone cold killer. Reacher is a wanted man, but is he their friend or their enemy? Only the secrets hidden in Margrave, Georgia will tell them.

I really enjoyed this book. I found myself willing the lead characters to understand Reacher as I know him and I look forward to seeing how much they can learn about him as the hunt continues. I did notice however, that the more they learned the more confused they became. I guess this just proves the complexity of Reachers character :-) When I was first introduced to Jack Reacher, I read the 2 most recent novels in the series at the time, before deciding to tackle the series from the beginning. By the time I reached the last chapter of "Killing Floor" I wasn't certain that I would have chosen to follow the series at all had I read that book first (such was the ruthless disregard that Reacher had for anyone that crossed his path). Therefore it makes complete sense to me that outside observers, such as Otto and Gaspar, might also have disparaging thoughts about the moral integrity of this behemoth pillar of righteousness we call Reacher

I don't understand what this story has to do with Jack Reacher. You might as well call this Hunt for Darth Vader and won't have to change the story line significantly.
