A Journey to Bethlehem

Diane K Chamberlain

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to journey with Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem?  Why not come and take a journey with me, as I walk back in time, to share some events that took place…right up to the time of Jesus’ birth. Come and discover a true connection with Jesus this Christmas that will warm your heart and bring back the real meaning of Christmas into your life.

Long Description...

A Journey to Bethlehem will take us on a journey that will lead us one step closer to the place where Jesus was born. We will meet people like Mary, Elizabeth, Zacharias, and Joseph. We will also camp out with the shepherds and experience the moment, when the Angel of the Lord visited them and then we will walk with them, as we head towards the place where Jesus was born. We will also experience the difficult moments that Mary and Joseph faced on this journey and we will not only learn about the lives of these people and what they experienced  but we will also learn how we can apply these moments from the journey to our own lives.

As we begin our first day of the journey together, we will be traveling to the place, where the angel of the Lord approached Mary, with the good news that she had been chosen to be the one to bring the true Messiah into the world. On the second day, we will be traveling with Mary, to visit Elizabeth and Zacharias and on the third day, we will go and spend some time with Joseph. After visiting Joseph, we will join up with Mary once more on the fourth day and we will make that long journey to Bethlehem; where on the fifth day, we will experience a great ending. As we prepare for the journey, my prayer is that we will open our hearts, to what God longs to share with us this Christmas.

About the author

Diane K Chamberlain was raised in a small town in Michigan where she married a wonderful man, Keith. She was born with a congenital problem in both knees and went through many surgeries trying to correct the problem.

Little did she know that God had “branded” her at birth for such a moment as this. Many in this world grow up and go to school or college to get their education, but that’s not what God had in store for Diane.

Diane’s education for writing her books, came from twenty-one painful knee surgeries, heartache from sexual abuse as a child, and the loss of many things in her life, including the loss of children. As each painful moment came and as each loving desire left, God was taking all that brokenness in her life, and He was piecing it all together like a beautiful puzzle; to make these books what they are.
