I read this chapter book over Video to our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter. She really liked the Elephant part where the elephants were marching and they Bagheera said "Halt" and they agreed to help look for Mowgli. She didn't like the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, but she liked the nasty python, Kaa and King Louis as all he wanted was 'Fire'. She loved Baloo and Bagheera and when Mowgli saw the little girl for the first time. I was truly amazed that I was able to read the book over a three day period with her, as she played with all her plastic animals making them play the parts, and the story kept her attention and she remembered all the characters. Well-done!

One of my all time favorites. Also made into a wonderful animated musical film. One of my first memories of the Big Screen was when watching this film. Love it, fan forever. 😍
