All she wants is a friend. What’s wrong with that?

Sure Jellica felt a smidge guilty for the money Greg Skyler spent on their date, but what did a man who wears sweater vests expect from a woman who wears crystals, burns sage, and teaches yoga? The two of them are never going to be the romance of the century. In fact, they have absolutely nothing in common. So why is Greg acting so surprised and hurt to hear she wants only to be friends?

Before her mind can sort it out, Greg’s sister is stalking her, his mother becomes her lawyer, and Greg starts bossing her around in the nicest way possible. Plus he’s still trying to kiss her. And he’s a really good kisser. Talk about confusing…

Sometimes nice guys—and girls—do finish first. And being friends and lovers is as perfect as you can get. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545; min-height: 14.0px}

Cupid she’s not—but she’s pretty darn close.

Nothing in the world feels better than finding her clients the perfect date. Of course, finding one for herself might be nice, but creative bill paying is for college students—not for accomplished doctors in their forties. Satisfied customers keep the electricity on.

But wait, according to all the magazines the forties are the new twenties. Now if only she felt twenty…

Everything in Dr. Mariah Bates’ life was perfectly fine until the moment she quit her celebrity radio job to start a dating business. Two years, a cheating ex, and a very ugly divorce later, she’s suddenly homeless and living with her mother. Not exactly how she’d envisioned her life. Not that her mom isn’t great, but come on.

With her cop ex-husband doing everything he can to ruin her business, she’s at her wit's end. Throw in another cop who makes her believe in love at first sight—or at least lust—and life is a mess. Interesting, fun and tummy tingling, but a mess. Especially since another cop is the last thing she needs.

Despite a very persistent, want-to-be beau who insists he's protecting her, it’s time for Mariah to take control of the game her ex has been playing. Punt or pass, she’s due for a touchdown.

Everyone deserves the perfect date—even her.

About THE PERFECT DATE Series

The essence of all romantic comedy is that falling in love and navigating an unexpected romance is never easy or simple. Instead, it’s messy and emotional, and if you’re lucky, it’s also sexy and fun.

Some relationship professionals, like my character of Dr. Mariah Bates in this series, sincerely want to help people find their perfect love match. For the various heroines I’ve created, many of whom are older, Mariah’s going to need all the help she can get. Or maybe she just needs to step out of the way. You can be the judge.

NOTE ABOUT THE HEAT LEVEL: Not being a fan of the word “clean” when applied to romance, I will instead say the heat level in this new series is in the 1-2 range, rather than 3-4 like some of my others. The focus is on sensuality and I’ve packed a lot into these stories.

Dating's one thing, but what’s love got to do with it?

Nothing. At least not for Ann Lynx. She’s fifty-three for goodness sake. She’s had love. All she’s in the market for these days is some fun companionship—no strings attached.

Right? Wrong.

Thanks to her pain-in-the-rear-end best friend, Georgia, she’s now back on the dating scene. Add Georgia’s matchmaking daughter Mariah to the mix and Ann is officially in a world of trouble—or dates—to be more accurate.

All that would be kind of doable, but her handyman’s sexy too-young-for-her son is making her feel like a silly young girl. She should definitely stick to the handsome, successful, and older men that Mariah keeps throwing in her path, but she can’t seem to banish the sexy Clark from her thoughts anymore than from her broken pantry.

The retired military man is very good at fixing things, and at kissing her senseless. Who’s going to fix her though if Clark ends up breaking her heart?

What’s love got to do with it? Maybe everything.

Space. The Final Frontier. But it has never been this sexy or fun.

Book 1 begins the adventure with the captain working to right a past mistake. Coveting Malachi's enormous power, Liam's exiled evil brother hunts his ship, wanting to capture the alien that Liam's life mate unknowingly hosts. Putting Malachi inside Ania two years ago had been an desperate act to save her when she almost died saving him. If only the damn daemon hadn't killed again, Ania would still be safely unaware of her fate. Now Liam has no choice but to tell Ania the truth and face the wrath of the only female he’s ever loved.

About the Forced To Serve series

Defining these stories has always been a challenge because they truly cover many genres and sub-genres. At it’s most basic description, the Forced To Serve series is a sexy, romantic, and humorous space opera. The cast of characters appears in book after book as they conduct rescue missions while trying to stay out of trouble. Books 1 & 2 recount the romance of Captain Liam Synar and Ambassador Ania Looren. Books 3 - 6 each have a different mission and a different romantic couple per story. Many more books are planned in this science fiction and fantasy romance series.

List of books in the Forced To Serve series:

Book 1:  The Daemon of Synar

Book 2:  The Daemon Master's Wife

Book 3:  The Siren's Call

Book 4:  The Healer's Kiss

Book 5:  The Daemon's Change

Book 6:  The Tracker's Quest

NOTE FROM AUTHOR about Books 1 & 2:

Not everyone is familiar with the sub-genre of "space opera", especially when combined with romance. But if you love watching Science Fiction TV shows such as Firefly and Star Trek, then you are already a fan of this sort of story. Space Operas usually contain a wide range of adventure story elements, but also tend to include ongoing love stories between characters. What I like best is that they allow me, as a romance author, to indulge my love of happy endings, but only after a good mission where at least some of the crew ends up fighting the bad guys. Fight scenes are a lot of fun to write.

Just like in space opera TV shows, the characters in my Forced To Serve series reappear from book to book because they are crew members of the same spaceship. However, there is a full romance with a new couple in each book as well. The one exception to this is that Book 1 (64,000 words) and Book 2 (110,000 words) together are the full story of Liam and Ania's romance. Reading both books is recommended to get a full feel for this series.

Worst epic fail of her scientific career? Falling for a cyborg she helped create.

Kyra Winters never meant for her cyber science discoveries to be used for evil, but that’s exactly what happened. Now returning Peyton 313’s humanity is the last chance she’ll ever have to atone. She can’t get back the lost decade, but she can change the present by restoring the cyborg who was once Marine Captain Peyton Elliot.

Certainly, her grand plan for rectifying her mistakes didn’t include madly kissing the confused, passionate Marine when he begged her to. The same scientific mind that constructed the cyborg creator code now warned her not to let Peyton’s tempting offers of heaven cloud her rational decision making. Yet it’s difficult to resist the cyborg she’s restoring when he’s also the most intriguing man she’s ever known.

About the Cyborgs: Mankind Redefined series

This is a science fiction and fantasy series that takes place in the not too distant future. These Cyborg romance heroes are genetically engineered military men who have been cybernetically imprisoned after a near-apocalyptic global war. The heroine in Book 1 appears briefly in every book as one by one she and her team attempt to restore each soldier's humanity. Each book in the series deals with a different restored cyborg. Each story also contains lots of action and adventure, some violence and language, and hopefully a few laughs along the way.
