Will doesn’t need the trouble Meara causes, but maybe he does need her.
For Captain William Talon, aka William 874, there aren’t many choices left. Whoever captured him after the war kept him out of the Cyber Husband program and instead turned him into a killing machine—a worse one than most cyborgs.
Will has no idea how many deaths are on his hands nor does he want to know. The few incidents he recalls are bad enough. But now it has come to this… Kyra and Peyton need a better cyborg than their mysterious Creator Omega enemy is making.
Will’s processor is dying daily which means the rest of him will die soon as well. An upgrade of the kind Kyra's talking about will either improve his entire existence… or kill him completely. Ironically, Will really doesn't care which. He’d have taken his own life years ago if he could have gotten around the daily brainwashing.
His losses are massive. Like many other cyber soldiers, they include the loss of a family who is convinced he's a prime example of walking evil.
His gains since Peyton rescued him? Really there's only one—just one annoying, endlessly chattering, red-haired troublemaker who's volunteered to be upgraded as well. Now they're cybernetically married, or at least they are in Meara’s warped mind.
What's he supposed to do with a female cyborg partner who has no boundaries?
And what's he supposed to do with the first hope he’s felt in years?
Now she can suddenly turn into a giant white wolf with the bloodlust of a starving animal. And she’s an alpha…or so she is told by the even larger, very male, black wolf who was used to create her. Hallucination? She wishes. Whether human or wolf, Reed talks in her head and tells her how to handle things…or rather how to kill them…starting with the men who hold them all captive. Too bad he can’t tell her how to put her life back like it was.
Admittedly, there are perks to being a werewolf, such as meeting sexy werewolf guys like Matthew Gray Wolf. Science labs aren't overrun with sexy men in white coats. She also doesn’t mind learning about a side of herself she never knew existed. It's great changing into a real wolf whenever she wants, but being a living experiment wasn’t part of the scientific career she’d planned for herself. Neither was falling for the local werewolf alpha, but what else is a newbie werewolf caught in her burning time going to do?
Kit and Luke Armas are cyborgs created for one purpose, battle. Now that the war is over, they must fight to carve out a place for themselves in a universe they were intended to die for but never be a part of.
Cargo pilot Zura Watson came to the edge of civilized space to start over. The Drift is a haven for the hunted, the lost, and those seeking second chances. It was also the last place in the cosmos Zura expected to find love.
When the shadows of the past threaten to eclipse this trio’s future, they’ll have to fight for their chance at love and the life they’ve always dreamed of.

Her body is his prize, but he'll risk the stars for her love...
Transformed by empathic crystals into the perfect paramour, Benedetta Galil is the last treasure of her fading world. When raiders attack—seeking to corrupt the crystals and conquer all of charted space—she gives herself as a prize to the one man in the universe who values freedom over power. Mercenary sheership Captain Corso Deynah left oppression behind him on a burning planet and has no use for a sex slave, even one as seductive as Benedetta. But while he stubbornly resists her body, her fierce spirit tempts him, and he will risk everything—his ship, his seclusion, the very stars—to win not just her passion but her love.
“Sexy, steamy, and action packed, this novella will knock you off your feet! The fantastic Jessa Slade masterfully weaves romance and action into the lives of Corso and Benedetta–and pulls it off with a flourish!”

“ENSLAVED BY STARLIGHT is a truly wonderful reading experience. Jessa packed more story into this novella than I’ve read in some full-length novels. I highly recommend this novella for anyone who has enjoyed science fiction romance in the past or would like to experience it for the first time now.”

Corso stepped outside, breathing out hard to clear the lingering sweet scent of pixberry from his lungs, and stared up at the sky. At the almost inaudible pad of bare feet behind him, he stiffened. Benedetta’s more subtle perfume teased him, and his heartbeat ramped even higher than it had that long-ago day when the sheer-ship plasma scorched the earth around him.
“Is it strange to see the stars from this angle?”
He glanced at the woman beside him. The silver l’auraly markings curled up the slender column of her neck to brush the points of her jaw, and the traceries glimmered even in the faint starlight. Every soldier knew, a sharp blow to those pressure points could disable. A kiss along those same lines could… He crushed the wayward thought. “What?”
She gestured upward, and the inner skin of her wrist glinted. “In your ship, you’re so much closer to them. They are beautiful from here, even through the ice rings and the light of three moons. They must be utterly amazing when you are up there alone with them.”
“You don’t see them at all in the sheerways. It’s all black. Unless you’re tangled, and then I’m told you see every star and moon and nebula at once in the nanosecond before your ship is shredded.”
She blinked. “Well, Captain Deynah, and here I wondered if you had any music in your soul.”
