Book 3 continues the epic adventure with an unofficial mission of rescuing one of their own. Commander Gwen Jet’s Siren mate and his mother have been abducted by slave traders. After 35 years of doing everything else for a living, Donna McDonald published her first novel in March of 2011. Thirty plus novels later, she is living her own happily ever after in life as a full time author.
She does her best to give back to the universe by hanging out to write at local coffee shops and keeping them in business. When not at one of those, she is hard at work in her office at a monstrous black desk her husband lovingly refers to as her “table”.
McDonald's work spans several genres, such as contemporary romance, fantasy, paranormal, and science fiction. Romance and romantic elements abound in her work, but she claims humor as the most common element across all her writing. Addicted to making readers laugh, McDonald includes a good dose of comedy in every book.

About the Forced To Serve series
Defining these stories has always been a challenge because they truly cover many genres and sub-genres. At it’s most basic description, the Forced To Serve series is a sexy, romantic, and humorous space opera. The cast of characters appears in book after book as they conduct rescue missions while trying to stay out of trouble. Books 1 & 2 recount the romance of Captain Liam Synar and Ambassador Ania Looren. Books 3 - 6 each have a different mission and a different romantic couple per story. Many more books are planned in this science fiction and fantasy romance series.
List of books in the Forced To Serve series:
Book 1: The Daemon of Synar
Book 2: The Daemon Master's Wife
Book 3: The Siren's Call
Book 4: The Healer's Kiss
Book 5: The Daemon's Change
Book 6: The Tracker's Quest
NOTE FROM AUTHOR about Books 1 & 2:
Not everyone is familiar with the sub-genre of "space opera", especially when combined with romance. But if you love watching Science Fiction TV shows such as Firefly and Star Trek, then you are already a fan of this sort of story. Space Operas usually contain a wide range of adventure story elements, but also tend to include ongoing love stories between characters. What I like best is that they allow me, as a romance author, to indulge my love of happy endings, but only after a good mission where at least some of the crew ends up fighting the bad guys. Fight scenes are a lot of fun to write.
Just like in space opera TV shows, the characters in my Forced To Serve series reappear from book to book because they are crew members of the same spaceship. However, there is a full romance with a new couple in each book as well. The one exception to this is that Book 1 (64,000 words) and Book 2 (110,000 words) together are the full story of Liam and Ania's romance. Reading both books is recommended to get a full feel for this series.
Now she can suddenly turn into a giant white wolf with the bloodlust of a starving animal. And she’s an alpha wolf…or so she is told by the even larger, very male, black wolf who was used to create her. Hallucination? She wishes. Whether human or wolf, Reed talks in her head and tells her how to handle things…or rather how to kill them…starting with the men who hold them all captive. Too bad he can’t tell her how to put her life back like it was.
Admittedly, there are perks to being a werewolf, such as meeting sexy werewolf guys like Matthew Gray Wolf. It’s not like the science labs were overrun with sexy men in white coats. She also doesn’t mind learning about a side of herself she never knew existed. It's great changing into a real wolf whenever she wants, but being a living experiment wasn’t part of the scientific career she’d planned for herself. Neither was falling for the local werewolf alpha, but what else is a newbie werewolf caught in her burning time going to do?
Note: This series is now complete and includes six novels in total: Bad Vibrations, Desert Hearts, Angel Fire, Star Crossed, Falling Angels, and Enemy Mine.

In Book 2 of the Jezibaba Saga, regenerated warlock, Nathaniel, intends to spend the next hundred years like he spent the previous hundred. His dedication to his work requires that he not get bogged down in the demands of the flesh, especially not flesh that has purple hair and a snarky attitude.
Following Princess Leelu into the land of fairies wasn't planned. Goddess knows, the rhyming trolls just about sent him over the edge. And why does everyone keep thinking he's their fairy king? No, on second thought... he’d just as soon not know.
"Run from this you cannot. A king Leelu needed—a king she got."

At 33, Harrison Graham knew he lucky. His reputation wasn’t the best, but the money he made allowed him to date debutants. It also allowed him to sleep with divorced women who knew the score. Did he want to find real love one day? Sure, he wanted a wife—eventually. He’d give in then to the Graham curse of fidelity to one woman that his grandfather warned him about.
Though it might be 1965 everywhere else in the world, when it came to marrying in Falls Church, things still worked like they had in 1955. He was enjoying his bachelorhood, but wasn’t going to turn into his father, moving from bad marriage to bad marriage after his mother died. Call him crazy, but he honestly believed he’d one day find a true love relationship like his grandparents had.
Until the right one came along, the Honorable Doris Isette Pearson looked like a perfect distraction. She had handled her own divorce and was now on the dating market. Among the members of the Falls Church Country Club, Doris was nearly as infamous as him. The woman also played a mean game of golf and he’d heard stories about her almost going pro.
Her tendency to buck convention as much as Harrison did definitely made Doris worthy of a tumble. She wasn’t his first older woman so the decade difference in their ages didn’t bother him a bit. After all, it wasn’t like he was going to marry the woman. All he wanted was to share her lonely divorcee bed and maybe stir things up at the club with a few mix-gender golf games. He and Doris would both have some fun.
The last thing Harrison expected was to find himself falling for the most inappropriate female he’d ever met.
