About the author
I am the author of A Matter of Taste and owner and operator of the Kitchen of Doris Yoder. A Matter of Taste is the first of four cookbooks I have published. I enjoy cooking, baking, canning, and preserving food. My business consists of baking by order, dinners served in my Amish home, and catering weddings, reunions, and large business functions. My husband, Gerald, and I live on a third-generation farm. It is Gerald's grandparents' farm, located near Arthur, Illinois. Arthur has close to eight hundred Amish households, lots of flat prairie land usually planted in corn and beans. I hope you enjoy this cookbook as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
