About the author

With over four decades of experience behind him, Dr Abhijit Sinha Roy is a paediatrician specializing in neonatology. He has earned the trust, love and respect of his patients and staff alike. He is a Healthcare Administrator with experience in hospitals ranging from large corporate hospitals and PSU hospitals to philanthropic trust hospitals. He believes in good communication in hospitals for a healthy patient-doctor relationship. He has written a book on this subject, which is ready for publication. From his childhood days, Abhijit Sinha Roy has had an uncanny eye for various incidents, conversations, etc., that happened around him. Whenever he found such incidents, he used to jot them down with the desire to compile them for publication. Dr Roy had picked up the incidents relating to healthcare and narrated them in his maiden book “Truth Salad – A Medley of Memories from the soul kitchen of a Doctor.” It is published by Notion Press. He has now completed his second book. He has named it “Truth Salad on the Wheels – An Array of Real-life incidents while on the move.” He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, is witty and has a great sense of humour. This aside, he likes reading, travelling and exploring the local food and culture of the places he visits.
