Practical approach without any fancy diet. A must read book once in a lifetime. one can definitely loose fat following Dr Dhurandhar's guidelines.

About the author

Dr Nikhil V. Dhurandhar is a physician and nutritional biochemist who has been involved in obesity treatment for thirty-five years. He is a professor and chairman of the department of Nutritional Sciences at Texas Tech University, USA. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Nutrition and Diabetes, a past president of The Obesity Society (USA), and a founding member of the All India Association for Advancing Research in Obesity (India). He started his weight management practice in Mumbai, gaining first-hand expertise from his father - Dr Vinod Dhurandhar, the founding father of obesity medicine in India. Since then, he has helped over 15,000 patients lose weight. As a scientist, he has written 135 articles in scientific journals, and given over 200 invited and scientific presentations. He has received twenty patents for inventions, which led to his induction to the National Academy of Inventors (USA). For his weight-management practice and research, he has received many prestigious awards, including from the Nutrition Society of India, and the American Society of Nutrition (USA).
