About the author

Dr. U.B. Lall is a product of prestigious Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New delhi. He graduated in medicine from JLN Medical Collage, AMU, Aligarh and post-graduated in Pediatrics from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur.

His extensive training child morbidity and mortality and profound clinical practice of over four decades won him S.T. Achar’s Gold Medal in research in newborns.

His research and work in remote areas like Khetri in Rajasthan, Murera in Datia district, Maharajpur and Jaderua Kalan in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh gave him an early insight into dietary issues.

He has teaching experience, teaching nursing students, nurses, Junior and senior resident doctors and post graduate DNB students.

His renowned practice as senior consultant in Mool Chand Hospital of 22 years and heading the department for last five years has culminated in this book.
