About this ebook

See the world of Fifty Shades of Grey anew through the eyes of Christian Grey—a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world.

"Please don't bite your lip, Anastasia." My voice is low, full of longing. Will I always want her like this? I want to kiss her, press her into the elevator wall like I did during our first kiss. I want to make her mine again.

Their scorching, sensual affair ended in heartbreak and recrimination, but Christian Grey cannot get Anastasia Steele out of his mind, or his blood. Determined to win her back, he tries to suppress his darkest desires and his need for complete control, and to love Ana on her own terms.

But the horrors of his childhood still haunt him, and Ana's scheming boss, Jack Hyde, clearly wants her for himself. Can Christian's confidant and therapist, Dr. Flynn, help him face down his demons? Or will the possessiveness of Elena, his seducer, and the deranged devotion of Leila, his former submissive, drag Christian down into the past?

And if Christian does win Ana back, can a man so dark and damaged ever hope to keep her?

A further cash grab in a series based off of abuse and some of the worst BDSM etiquette put on paper. Another book about a magical unicorn man who is perfect except for how utterly disastrous and abusive he is. I'd give it zero stars of I could. It wouldn't be so repugnant if these demonic books hasn't influenced and been seen by so many people, but here we are. As for wether the desperate money grubbing blatant cash grab this monstrosity clearly is will fade from the social consciousness as quickly as it rose, we can only hope. Fingers crossed that an author with wit and creativity and a basic grasp of decent character arcs gets a chance to over come this unsightly bump that can only be called literature by the most loose definition.

If you are a fan of E.L. James, you will probably like this. I found it to be better than Grey, which really was just like re-reading Fifty Shades of Grey - no additional details or information that might've filled in the blanks. This book did attempt to fill in some of the gaps but lacked the dark humor that I appreciated in the Fifty Shades books. The writing in all of James's books is rather simple and lacking in creativity but the plot is sweet so I keep reading

I think E L James is grasping at straws with this 50 shades series. I enjoyed the first book (which is a complete rip off of Sylvia Day) and the following 2 we're 'meh.' Retelling the story from Grey's POV seems a bit desperate. She hit gold with the 50 series, and has yet to come up with (her own) new GOLD material.
