About this ebook

Marie Trousdale, an urban California professional, is ready for a change when she realizes that she has been mourning her husband and son for 10 years. She hires Wil Townsend, a rural Oregon contractor, to build a house for her on property she inherited from her late husband. They’ve both been hurt by love before and don’t want a new relationship. She's a vegetarian. He's meat and potatoes. The two mix like oil and water but the spark of romance gets ignited and they overcome their fears and differences with love. Opposites combine to make a fiery romance. But when Marie changes occupations, it creates obstacles, misunderstandings, and danger. Will they put out the flame of love or feed it?

Wil and Marie have a very suspenseful and romantic story here on this roller coaster ride. The characters have intense feelings, emotions and great backstories. The storyline has drama, danger, kidnapping, arson, lies, apologies, book tours, a cabin in the woods, a mountain man and his son, and a writer of erotic romances. This book hits all your emotions as the details of the locales and events make you feel like you are right there. Great ending.. Marie Trousdale moves from Los Angeles, California to a small rural Oregon town and meets local contractor Wil Townsend. The story is well written with suspense, drama, danger, a villain and romance. The story was well worth reading. This is a new Author to me. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
