E.M. Holzman was in journalism for 16 years. Her journalism career led her to Atlanta, Ga., Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD, Cambridge, MA, New York City, Sanibel Island, FL and Paris, France. Erin attended the University of Maine and the University of Cincinnati to obtain a B.A. in English Literature. Six years later, she attended Harvard University where she received a M.F.A. in English Literature with an Emphasis in Creative Writing for Children’s Literature. She did her Master’s thesis on Roald Dahl a childhood favorite. While finishing up her Master’s degree, Erin also attended a one-year program on mediation at Harvard Law School in their Program on Negotiation. She now resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, her hometown, and Venice, Florida. She works as an organizational guru (EOG) and writes children’s books, novels and plays. Erin writes under the pen name of E.M. Holzman or Erin Moss.
