I absolutely loved Finally Yours by Elena Aitken; it is an incredible second chance love story. It is the first book in her new Finally series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Elena Aitken showed that she is an amazing storyteller and has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Finally Yours, they feel like family! Finally Yours is an incredible love story, that is filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions and I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong females, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Finally Yours is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a love story, Elena Aitken did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. My favorite part is how the title of the book is incorporated into the love story with a simple statement by Abby. Finally Yours is about former lovers, Phillip Conrad, and Abigail “Abby” Blakely. Abby is trying to reinvent herself, after her ex-husband, Daniel is jailed. Phillip and Abby run into each other at the Aspen Valley Country Club where Abby works in the pro shop. Phillip catches Abby taking money from his money clip, that he accidentally left in a suit jacket her borrowed from the country club. Abby needed the money for tuition. Phillip offers a proposition to Abby, to join him at his home for the weekend, and be his “date” for a dinner. As Abby spends the weekend with Phillip, she is initially wary of pursuing a relationship with him, since the last time he walked away from her. The more time they spend together, the more they realize they each still have feelings for one another. I especially love when both Phillip and Abby get real with their true feelings for one another and how Phillip opens up to Abby in the emotionally charged dialogue that transpires between the two of them. I love Abby’s relationship with her friends and how they always have one another’s backs and support one another. I love all the changes that Abby agrees to so that she can have a life with Phillip. I love the characters in Finally Yours, the characters feel like family best friends. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Finally Yours, who doesn’t love a second chance love story? Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

After discovering that her husband is a cheating thief, Abby is left to pick up the pieces of her broken marriage. Her so called friends now treat her as though she has the plague, but she tolerates it so that she can afford to attend college and complete her degree. When the opportunity presents itself, Abby does something she never thought she’d do….caught in the act, she now has to right her wrongs. Phillip has one regret in his life—walking away from “the one” without a fight. Now, he’s proven himself and become a wealthy businessman. When he sees Abby in the golf shop of the country club, he devises a plan to help her get a little revenge on her “friends”. Although he’s heard that Abby’s fallen on hard times, he can’t believe she’d resort to stealing from him. So, he offers her a way out… Even though second chance romance really isn’t my favorite genre, I really enjoyed Abby and Phillip’s story. Misunderstandings in the past led to their breakup, but also made them the strong people they are today. I love that they are an older couple! I also enjoyed their witty banter. What starts out as an indecent proposal, turns out to be so much more!!! Loved it and recommend adding it to your TBR shelf. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

I would definitely recommend Finally Yours. It was a wonderful story of second chances between the characters Phillip and Abigail / Abby. Phillip always loved Abby but when his friend met Abby, Phillip didn't think he had a chance and choose to let her go. Years later Abby's husband turns out to be horrible and she divorces him. Her so-called friends from that life turn and look down on Abby, thankful for her true friends she moves on. Phillip never left Abby and watched her from the distance. When she does something wrong, Phillip takes that opportunity to offer her a proposal that she cannot turn down. Through carrying out his plans Abby realizes that Phillip is the one for her and Phillip gets his second chance at love.
